Weekly Paper review – 8th June

Hello everyone. (please click on the Box.net application to the left of the screen for the audio)
There wasn’t a huge array of articles this week in the papers but certainly the figures were there to support my thoughts on the “W” recovery in the UK market. Having discussed it with people after a surge of comments last week following on from my opinoins on the Podcast, I firmly believe that this has been another week to show this is the most likely recovery cycle.
The sooner the banks start to lend and open up the first time buyer market again the less severe this “W” will be. We cannot have banks pulling rates just as the market is showing life. Sadly this has been the outcome this week with some banks making silly decisions.
Anyway, some of the articles this week that i cover are below:
http://tinyurl.com/n4mq2f – article about buying Overseas Property safely
http://tinyurl.com/l47djs – Times article about the Lenders derailing the house price rally
http://tinyurl.com/lrnf33 – Times article about being the right time to buy – more property fund orientated however
http://tinyurl.com/mphzhp – “Its the beginning of the end” by David Smith at the Times
